* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR…
WESTERN CRAWFORD COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL IOWA…
* UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
* AT 432 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE
WARNED AREA. AS MUCH AS 1 INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE PAST
FEW HOURS…AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED FROM
THUNDERSTORMS THAT ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE OVER THE SAME AREAS.
* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO
OCCUR. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS
OF WESTERN CRAWFORD COUNTY…INCLUDING THE TOWNS OF ARION…CHARTER
