DON McCUNN, 80, of Massena (the Mayor of Massena & a long-time local businessman), died Mon., May 27th, at his home in Massena. A Funeral service for DON McCUNN will be held 10:30-a.m. Thu., May 30th, at the United Methodist Church in Massena. Steen Funeral Home in Massena has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home is from Noon until 8-pm on Wednesday (May 29th), with the family greeting friends from 6-to 8-pm. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Burial will be in the Massena Center Cemetery, north of Massena. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by the Anita American Legion Post No. 210. A luncheon at the Cumberland Community Building will follow the burial.

His children – Randy (Nancy) McCunn, Peggy (Rick) Wheatley, Kevin (Trisha) McCunn, and Beverly (Jon) Groves, all of Massena, and, Sandra (Marty) Rew, of Yutan, NE.

 His brother – Carroll (& wife Carolyn) McCunn, of Onawa.

His sister – Becky Taylor, of Rockford, IL.

21 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, his in-laws, other relatives, and friends.
