DARLENE KORDICK, 97 (formerly of Anita & Bridgewater), died Wed., May 29th, at the Good Samaritan Society, in Fontanelle. A Funeral Mass for DARLENE KORDICK will be held 10:30-a.m. Sat., June 1st, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Massena. Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31st from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening. A scripture/prayer service will also be held on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Memorials may be directed the Darlene Kordick memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, in rural Bridgewater. A luncheon will follow the burial at the church.

Her three children – David Kordick and wife Pat of West Liberty, Marlene Friedel and husband Richard of Rock Island, Illinois and Phil Kordick and wife Diana of Bridgewater.

Her brother – Ralph Welsch of Fontanelle.

9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, ; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
