MERRITT BOWER, 95, of Bridgewater, died Sun., April 21st, at the Good Samaritan Society in Fontanelle. Funeral services for MERRITT BOWER will be held at 2-p.m. Thu., April 25th, at the United Methodist Church in Bridgewater. Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle has the arrangements.

An open visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family meeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Memorials may be directed to the Bridgewater or Fontanelle Fire Departments.

Burial will be in the Fontanelle Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at the church.

His son – Merrill Bower of Bridgewater.

His daughters – Nancy Swain and husband Steven, of Atlantic, and Betty David and husband Dallas, of Orient.

7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
