Bluffs woman held on $100k bond in CO after chase and collisions with law enforcement vehicle

Authorities in Morgan County, CO., have arrested a Council Bluffs woman following a chase which involved collisions with several law enforcement vehicles. According to the Omaha World-Herald, 34-year old Dawn M. Scott was being held on $100,000 bond, and faces charges of reckless driving, reckless endangerment, 2nd-degree assault of a police officer, and child abuse. Scott was also wanted for failure to appear in Sarpy County District Court on March 11th to  face charges of willful reckless driving, attempt of a felony and operation of a vehicle to avoid arrest.

Authorities in Morgan County, CO told the World-Herald that Scott ran a stop sign in Brush, Colo., and refused to stop for a police officer. The ensuing chase, with a child in Scott’s vehicle, involved several collisions of the woman’s vehicle and those of law enforcement officials from at least three agencies. No injuries were reported.
