RITA BLOCK, 83, of Earling, died Thursday, Jan. 17^th, at the Midlands Living Center in Earling. A Mass of Christian Burial service for Rita Block will be held on Monday, Jan. 21^st, at 10:30 a.m.,  at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling.  Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Jan. 20^th, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Wake Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Earling.

Her Sons: Gail (Rita) Block of Waterloo, NE; Leo (Cheryl) Block of Omaha, NE.

Her Daughters: Lois Collins of Council Bluffs; Mary (Steve) Smay of Council Bluffs

Her Sisters: Delores “Dee” Dempsey of Omaha; Jean “Tudy” Laux of Omaha
