RON KNIEP, 73, of Greenfield, died Tue., Aug. 28th, at the Greater Regional Hospice in Creston. Funeral services for RON KNIEP will be held 11-a.m. Fri., Aug. 31st, at the United Methodist Church in Greenfield. Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 3-8pm Thursday, Aug. 30th, at the Greenfield United Methodist Church, with the family present from 5-8pm. Online condolences may be left at www.steenfunerals.com.

Memorials may be directed to the Ron Kniep Memorial Fund to be established at a later date.

Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at the church.

RON KNIEP is survived by:

His wife – Becky Kniep, of Greenfield.

His daughters – Diane (Randy) Long,  and Karla (Nic) Denney, all of Savannah, MO.

His son – Clint (Shaun) Kniep, of Mount Ayr.

His step-sons: Rob (Phyllis) Jones, of Van Meter; Scott Jones (& friend Heather), of Earlham; Todd (Staci) Jones,  & Tim (Kelli) Jones, all of Greenfield.

His brothers – Allan Kniep, of Des Moines, & Tim (Judy) Kniep, of Ankeny.

12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, other relatives & friends.
