LESTER WILLIAM PLOEN, 95, of Avoca, died Wed., Aug. 8th, at the Avoca Nursing & Rehab Center. Funeral services for LESTER PLOEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Sat., Aug. 11th, at the Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.

Visitation at the funeral home, is from Noon until 8-pm Friday (Aug. 10th), with the family greeting friends from 5-7pm. In addition, a Prayer service will be held at the funeral home, beginning at 7pm.

Burial will be in the Minden Cemetery.

His wife – Doris Marie Ploen, of Shelby.

His son – Larry Ploen, of Shelby.

His daughter – Sylvia (Chuck) Terlouw, of West Des Moines.

His brothers – Dale (Mary) Ploen, of Knoxville, & Harley Ploen, of Walnut.

His sister – Lois Kahler, of Minden.

2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
