THE DENSE FOG ADVISORY ISSUED EARLIER THIS MORNING FOR PARTS OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL IOWA HAS BEEN EXPANDED, AND REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9-A.M.. THE ADVISORY NOW INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN THE KJAN LISTENING AREA…MONONA-HARRISON-SHELBY-POTTAWATTAMIE-MILLS-MONTGOMERY-FREMONT-PAGE-CRAWFORD-CARROLL- DALLAS-POLK-MADISON-UNION-RINGGOLD.
VISIBILITY WILL BE ONE -QUARTER MILE OR LESS THROUGH 9 AM. REDUCED VISIBILITIES WILL LEAD TO DIFFICULT TRAVEL AND WILL REQUIRE A QUICKER RESPONSE TIME.
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING…SLOW DOWN…USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS…AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.
