THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR…
ADAIR COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST IOWA… UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
AT 933 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GREENFIELD…OR 20 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ATLANTIC…AND MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR…FONTANELLE AROUND 950 PM CDT. GREENFIELD AND ORIENT AROUND 955 PM CDT.
