Griswold Freshman sensation Rebekah Topham followed up a Drake Relays title with a State Championship in the 3,000 Meter Run this afternoon at Drake Stadium.  Topham led for all but the early lap of the race and cruised to a state title in 10:33.66.

Right behind her was Freshman teammate Alyx Flippen who ran 10:56.67 for a second place finish in the event and giving the Tigers a one-two finish.

Tiffany Shepard of Corning also took an 8th Place medal in the event with a time of 11:20.73
