Former Atlantic High School Activities Director and Assistant Principal Bob Sweeney has accepted a similar position with the Shenandoah Community School District. Shenandoah Superintendent Jeff Hiser announced the move late Tuesday. Details of the contract are still being worked out. Sweeney served the Atlantic district for 13 years in the AD’s position, and has taught and coached at Shenandoah. He’s set to take over the position previously held by P-J Hedrington, whose contract was not renewed after one year.
