THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING FOR…NORTH CENTRAL MONTGOMERY COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN IOWA… UNTIL 630 PM CDT
* AT 604 PM CDT…DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR EMERSON…OR 36 MILES EAST OF OMAHA…AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH.
* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…ELLIOTT AND GRANT.

TAKE COVER NOW. MOVE TO A BASEMENT OR AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF IN A MOBILE HOME OR OUTDOORS…MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER AND PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.
