THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A FROST ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 8 AM CDT SUNDAY. READINGS ARE FORECAST TO DROP FROM 32 TO 35 DEGREES DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. THE COLDEST READINGS WILL BE IN RIVER VALLEYS SUCH AS THE NISHNABOTNA VALLEYS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS. SENSITIVE VEGETATION MAY BE IMPACTED BY THE FROST. PLEASE TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT ANY OUTDOOR PLANTS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED.
