RONALD PURDY, 91, of Greenfield, died Fri., Feb. 17th, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Society in Fontanelle.  Funeral services for RONALD PURDY will be held 10:30-a.m. Tue., Feb. 21st, at the Greenfield United Methodist Church. Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.

A family visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4-8pm Mon., Feb. 20th, and a Masonic service (by the Crusade Lodge #386 A.F. & A.M.) will be held at the Greenfield United Methodist Church on Tuesday, during the funeral service.

Burial, with full military graveside rites will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.

His children – Jeanette (David) Kern, of Cedar Rapids; Barbara Purdy-Gates, of Millbrae, CA; Jerry (Roxanne) Purdy, of Adel; & Jack (Peggy) Purdy, of Maryville, MO.

His brother – Durwood (Dorothy) Purdy, of Fontanelle.

His sisters – Linda (Kay) Jensen, and Patricia (Mike) McDermott, all of Fontanelle; & Beth Davis, of Altoona.

9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, his sisters-in-law, other relatives, and friends.
