…DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY for all of Southwest/Western IA……FREEZING FOG ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED…
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY.
* VISIBILITY…VISIBILITIES WILL CONTINUE TO BE A QUARTER MILE OR
LESS IN MANY AREAS THIS MORNING. CONDITIONS SHOULD RAPIDLY
IMPROVE OVER NON SNOW COVERED AREAS OF NORTHERN IOWA NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 30 BY NOONTIME. HOWEVER FOG WITH VISIBILITIES OF LESS
THAN A MILE SHOULD PERSIST OVER THE SNOW PACK FARTHER SOUTH.
* IMPACTS…LOW VISIBILITIES WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS THIS MORNING.
