Sheriff’s officials in Audubon County report one person was arrested 30-minutes into the start of the new year, Sunday. 51-year old James Leroy Nicholl, Jr., of Audubon, was taken into custody at 12:30-a.m., on a charge of OWI/1st offense, following a traffic stop on Highway 71, near Hamlin. Nicholl Jr., was brought to the Audubon County Jail and later released after appearing before the magistrate.
