AMES, Iowa – There was plenty of good football news in the Iowa State football camp Thursday. Firstly, Iowa State fans have now secured 5,002 tickets for the Dec. 30 New Era Pinstripe Bowl in New York City’s Yankee Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:22 CST on ESPN.

Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads confirmed Thursday that all of his team’s student-athletes are eligible for the game. The Cyclones will depart for New York on Christmas morning. The Yankee Stadium field has been readied for the game.
