DION ALLAN GROOMS, 52, of Walnut, died Thu., Sept. 15th, at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan. Funeral services for DION GROOMS will be held 10-a.m. Tue., Sept. 20th, at the Peace United Church of Christ in Walnut. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca has the arrangements.

Visitation is from 5-9pm Mon., Sept. 19th, at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 5-8pm.

Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Hancock.

His daughters – Ashley (Brian) Williams, of Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks, Alaska; Lacey Grooms, of Walnut.

His sisters – Jolene (Dean) Henning, of MN, & Tami (Jeff) Harman, of Neola.

His brother – Allan (Kerree) Grooms, of Walnut.
