Atlantic Mayor Dave Jones is warning motorists not to try and travel on 22^nd Street, due to the dangers resulting from construction currently taking place in the area. Jones issued his warning and plea during Wednesday’s City Council meeting. He says 22^nd Street is closed to thru traffic, and is unsafe due to a sharp drop-off.

Jones, who is also an insurance agent, says your insurance may not cover any accidents you get into, when traveling on a closed street.
